Kizzy Crawford’s talent for composing bespoke music makes her the ideal creative partner for collaborations across film, advertising, theatre, and television. Her composition work showcases a deep understanding of mood, story, and emotion - evident in her original scores for the BBC Radio documentary June: Voice of a Silent Twin and the short film Complexity of Skin for BBC. She also composed two full seasons of music for TIPINI, a Welsh-language children’s series for S4C, as well as original works for stage productions including Simple Acts for National Theatre Wales and Death of a Fool for Welsh National Opera. Further demonstrating her versatility, Kizzy is currently composing the score for a new hour-long ballet ‘Merched Y Mor’ for Ballet Cymru. Her unique ability to blend genres like jazz, folk, soul, and funk into powerful soundscapes ensures her music enhances and elevates any visual or theatrical narrative.
